The Connells ’74-75′ Live in Studio

A great version of ’74-75′ with Mike Connell, Doug MacMillan, George Huntley, Peele Wimberley, Steve Potak in studio!  This is a rare video with Tim Harper playing bass with the band.  Tim normally runs the sound board and produces the band.  This version has a remarkable live performance!

New video for Hot Nun’s “Brave New World”

Brave New World is the latest video from Hot Nun, led by the Well Wishers Jeff Shelton. This great video is now up for public consumption, music lovers! According to Jeff, “the video is a colorful, raucous ride through rock n’ roll and subversive human nature. ….and there’s a KISS poster, to boot!” We agree. It is a great video!

Fundraiser for Cats of All Sizes

Sami J - YTAA Office Assistant Cat
Sami J – YTAA Office Assistant Cat

A good friend of the show has created a wonderful and inventive swim marathon fundraiser throughout June to raise money for Lions Tigers and Bears sanctuary in California, which was instrumental in placing dozens of big cats from Ohio into new homes.  She is also raising support for the Cat Welfare Association, the biggest cat shelter in central Ohio.  You can read more about this effort — and if possible, contribute — to it at the blog for this important fundraiser for cat shelters: http://bigcatslittlecats.wordpress.com/

Please take a few minutes and see what you can do to help in this grassroots effort to support two great causes! Yours in Social Responsibility, – Dr. J

Thank you everyone!

Today we had more phone calls, emails, and tweet requests than ever before on the show!  Mrs. Dr. J and I are humbled by the love for the request show today!  Thank you so much.  We even had multiple callers asking for the same song!  Wow.  We are planning on repeating the request show again.  If you have any suggestions for themes for future shows, just let us know!Image

Your Tuesday Afternoon Alternative Request Show

ImageWe are playing music by request from listeners to the show both near and far! So take some time to call 937-229-2774 or email drjwudr@gmail.com or tweet us a request at drjwudr! We already have several requests lined up.  Let us know what you would like to hear! Your pals, – Dr. J and Mrs. Dr J

Up to Up-date!  A listener in Cincinnati just asked “why do a request show?”  Our answer:  We know what folks want to hear… not because of market research bs, or because that’s what they program in LA, or because that is what is “charting”, or some truly misguided sense of our own importance — we know because we asked and listeners told us what they wanted to hear.  And that is what we are playing tomorrow!  Because that is how radio is supposed to work! — Dr. J
