We will be playing a combination of new and older indie music with an emphasis on bands that are playing this summer.

We continue all summer long with great new, indie, and local music. Join Dr. J for hour one from 3-4pm when we will be featuring Luke Frazier, Mikal Cronin, Koala Fires, Junip, The Story Changes, and much more! Brand new music from Guided by Voices — yeah, we know that is not too surprising! — except that we also have new music from Iggy and the Stooges! Got your attention now?!
Mrs. Dr. J will bring her radio sophistication from 4-6pm and we will kick things up a notch or three! We have many new songs to bring your way and we are very excited. Now, we can’t go through them all here because that would be telling, right? And sometimes the best reveal is as it is happening!
Tomorrow we will unveil the choice for the on-air book review so you will have plenty of time to read the book so you can participate!

Join the talented Mrs. Dr. J and her affable co-host Dr. J for a final discussion of Record Store Day, recent performances, new music, and other indie music necessities. The doctors will be joined by Andy Ingram talking about his latest project XL427 which we are very much enjoying — you should check out their Yesterday’s Forever EP.

Also expect a few surprising indie classics for your Tuesday.
We will also be playing music from great Record Store Day finds such as Iron & Wine, some live music from R.E.M., Wussy’s Duo which you could only get at Shake It Records in Cincinnati, and more! We saw Good English — pictured above — play a rousing set at Omega Music in Dayton which really got our RSD started! Expect us to be talking about the new music that is forthcoming from the Rasmussen sisters!

Sohio is about to go into the studio to work on their latest record with legendary producer John Curley of The Afghan Whigs fame handing the boards! We will talk with Mark about the new album, playing MidPoint Music Festival, and the incredible music scene in the Miami Valley!
